You can create 3D art in many ways, one of the ways is to use a 3D printer. A 3D printer is very complicated. First they  slice a model into different layers then they print the layers on top of each other to make the final product. People use 3D printers for many things. Architects use 3D printers for models of buildings. Surgeons use art 3D printers to make models of a body to plan and practice surgery. People in general can use 3D printers to make artificial limbs or aircraft parts. 3D printers use a lot of materials to make the things you want them to, a variety of materials including ceramics and metals are used in 3D printers. School printers have a different process they use the plastic extrusion process first they melt plastic, then they squeeze the plastic out of a small opening after that the plastic forms into wire and  it can be printed in layers.
