Peter uses many mediums in his work. Some of the mediums he uses are watercolors, pencils and pens. I am going to tell you all about these kinds of mediums.
First is watercolors. Peter has a favorite kind of watercolor it is called gouache. It is pronounced gwa-sh. It is an opaque watercolor used for painting plain, flat borders. Normal watercolors are ideal for covering large areas and have subtle color.
There are two kinds of pencils, graphite pencils and colored pencils. Graphite pencils are pencils that we use everyday. When you write or draw with them the color that comes out is gray. They come in all different grades; the softer the graphite, the darker the color. Colored pencils are good for shading in small and large areas. They are also used for coloring in.
Peter also uses pens. In this case, gel pens. I am going to tell you about black, white, and metalic gel pens. Black gel pens are useful for tracing outlines and detailed doodles. White and metalic gel pens are ideal for doodling onto colored paper or over dark colored art.
Peter also creates digital art, sculptures, and uses ink.
Hi. My name is Ada and I am in the Hope Valley High-C. I wanted to study Frida because I like to make art. Also, my mom went to her house in Mexico City, Casa de Azul. I also like dogs, basketball, writing, dancing, lacrosse and karate. I love to take notes at home and at school and I read A LOT.
I am Aila. I am in the High-C group from the Hope Valley School. I chose to reaserch Peter because our school is already learning about him so I decided I could learn more. I like cats, playing the fiddle, and doing ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical.
Hello my name is Sophie, I am nine and a very silly person. I like to sing and dance but only with people who I am comfortable with. Having four close friends and many other friends and being able to play softball and guitar, I think I have a very good life. I have a mom, dad, and me to care for and to love.
