A day at Hope Valley School by hank

When Hope Valley School was a junior high, they had music class and penmanship, and grades 7-10 had domestic science for girls and manual training for boys. Domestic science was cooking and sewing and manual training was things like woodworking. If you lived a mile away or more, you were rode the bus and if you lived within a mile you walked to school.

This is a plaque hanging just outside our library. It was put in when the built the "new building" in 1954. The library, gym/cafeteria/stage and classrooms were added and the school became an elementary school.

This is a plaque that hangs in Mrs. Abbott's Kindergarten room. It is named for a kindergarten teacher, Annie Green.

Noah Robert Vandeveer is a really hyper 3rd grader. He also likes fake gore. He may have some strange traits for a 3rd grader, but he has a wild imagination and loves to have fun with his friends.
